BIM and LOD: What you need to know
LOD, savior of the structural model, from first element modeled, to project hand over
Time & Location
Oct 24, 2019, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Winnipeg Construction Association, 1447 Waverley St, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0P7, Canada
About the event
LOD! What is it? During this session we will explore what Level of Development is and see how LOD not only affects your model, modeled elements, but your BIM Execution Plan, drawing production, deliverable requirements and project hand over. See an example of a structural model and how the different levels of LOD can affect it. And quickly go over LOD and the project deliverables. As well, discovering how your LOD guideline or standards will guide your clients in the correct direction of needs vs wants. From a small home addition modeled in Revit, to larger industrial projects using Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other AEC Software, LOD knowledge is a must.
Join us at the Winnipeg Construction Association on October 24th, as Jason Peters of Lavergne Draward & Associates Inc. talks about Level of Development (LOD) and how it affects your BIM projects.
