About the event

Senior Technician! What does that role look like in the modern BIM-driven AEC industry? How do we, as managers, keep them, use them, and train them? Are they mentors, trainers, production specialists, or teachers? They have so many roles and skills that they need to be used more and more. But how? Join this Roundtable discussion, and we will discuss how to use, keep, train, and retain our AEC Technicians and how they can mentor the future of AEC Technicians.

Join the Winnipeg BIM Community for coffee, snacks, and great conversation where Jason Peters will guide us through a discussion with the following objectives:

  1. Define what an AEC technician is and the role they play in your individual firm
  2. Discuss the pros and cons of hiring experienced technician versus training
  3. Learn how mentors make new AEC Technicians.
  4. Discover how to keep and get the most out of your senior technicians.

We hope you join us for our first event of 2023!
