About the event
The world is finding more and more uses for drones every day, but in what ways can we in the building design and construction leverage them to improve our industry? Join us on Monday night, September 16th 2024, from 6-8PM for an enriching educational event hosted by the Winnipeg BIM Community.
Discover insights from industry experts:
- Sean Usher, Design Consultant, shares drone use cases in a design environment.
- Roxanne Gross, General Contractor, highlights construction phase applications.
- Nolan Klassen, Equipment Sales & Support, demonstrates creating and analyzing point cloud files from drone photogrammetry using BIM/Mesh/Point Cloud technology.
Afterward, participate in hands-on drone flight lessons led by Nolan, Sean, and Roxanne. Drones provided by Lewis Instruments and the Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC) ensure a practical learning experience.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into the applications of drone technology in the design and construction phases of our Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Light snacks will be provided.
We want to thank BIRD Construction and Republic Architecture for being our event sponsors and helping make this experience a reality.
