About the event
The information contained in a Building Information Model (BIM) is a powerful tool that is often underutilized. By leveraging the data potential of BIM, we can realize many benefits throughout the project lifecycle. However, understanding how data is used by each party is often unclear, and ensuring the continuity and quality of the building data can be challenging. Join the wBIMc to learn about BIM data, how it's utilized across the project lifecycle, and discuss the challenges of generating and maintaining it through construction and operations.
This event will bring together our diverse members to discuss various data-centric topics, including:
- The Basics of BIM Data and it's current role in Design, Construction, and Operations.
- Challenges in maintaining data quality across stakeholders.
- Approaches for sharing data throughout the project lifecycle
- The future of data in the AECO industry
